Mr. Manku after completing his law degree from Birmingham spent a year working in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA in the felony department of the public defenders office. After which he qualified as an NY Attorney at Law.

Prior to forming Sawarn & Co. Ltd, Mr. Manku was in private practice with law firms in London and New York.

His invaluable experience from training in America and London with large and medium sized firms benefits our firms’ clients with the ability to be advised and represented on wide range of legal matters.

Mr. Manku’s experience includes commercial and residential conveyancing, wills, representation of corporate clients on matters including incorporation of new companies and employment issues, restrictive covenants, breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets. He has argued motions on criminal appeals and trials, civil litigation and on bankruptcy hearings.

Mr. Manku is a member of the NY State Bar Association and Law Society of England and Wales.

Simi Manku, an attorney admitted to practice in England and Wales, India and New York, concentrates her practice in Corporate and International Law. She has rich and varied experience in dealing with start-up projects especially in the emerging technologies companies right from their incorporation to helping them with private funding, securing their intellectual property rights and drafting computer and IT legal documents. Her scope of practice also includes mergers & acquisitions, international joint ventures, securities regulation issues, real estate matters and also alternative dispute resolution. 

Previously, she has practiced in India, New York and Los Angeles. Simi is currently based in Derby, England.

Simi graduated with an LL.M from University of Virginia School of Law in 2001. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Bombay, India. She also holds a professional qualification of Associate Company Secretary.  

She can communicate in Hindi; Gujarati; Kannada and Punjabi.

Simi is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, NY State Bar Association and Associate Member of Institute of Company Secretaries.
